I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share a bit about myself and my journey with you.

My background is as diverse as the clients I serve, with experience spanning HR consulting, executive and leadership coaching, workplace culture change, real estate and founding start-up companies. I bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and a unique perspective to my coaching practice.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve championed people-focused culture and learning initiatives—creating workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow. A key highlight was leading the development of an award-winning workplace, recognised as a Top 10 Best Workplaces in New Zealand, and celebrated four awards for its learning & development, and culture initiatives.

As a proud mother of four children and eight beautiful grandchildren, I've also embraced reinvention throughout my life, starting when my children were young. My journey into entrepreneurship began with a desire to fill a gap in the early childhood education sector, leading me to create a vibrant preschool program centered on movement and music. With its success, I identified further opportunities to make a difference, including establishing a homeschooling group. Over the years I've explored diverse business ventures, including founding a luxury transport & tourism business alongside my husband. The company grew into a nationwide success, renowned for serving A-list celebrities, royalty and top-tier luxury hotels and resorts in New Zealand.

In my 40’s, I launched a boutique recruitment agency that organically evolved into a successful career as an HR Business Consultant, and an Executive / Leadership Coach. Life however threw a curveball when I found myself widowed in my 50s—a profound change that led to yet another transformation and reinvention. In late 2019, I stepped away from a senior HR consulting role to expand my consulting business, focusing on career coaching skilled migrants and helping them secure meaningful work. However, with the onset of COVID-19 and closed borders, I had to pivot once again.

Renewing my real estate license, I stepped back into the industry and enjoyed a couple of successful years. Yet the call to do something more meaningful was ever-present. I knew that it was time to step outside my comfort zone once more and carve a new path—one that has led me to where I am today.

Throughout these experiences, I’ve encountered first-hand the challenges that come with limited job opportunities and doors that don’t open as easily, even when you know you have so much experience to offer. While it may not be openly acknowledged, I have also felt the frustration of being overlooked—not because of ability, but influenced by age-related factors.

Through all of this, I’ve come to know the strength, resilience, and depth that such experience brings. It’s this journey that fuels my passion for guiding people through their own transitions, providing the support and empowerment they need to navigate their own unique paths.

Today, my mission is to support professionals, leaders, and their teams as they navigate career or business change, helping them move forward with clarity and confidence. I am also a passionate advocate for creating multigenerational workplaces—where individuals of all ages, especially those 50 and over, are valued for their experience and empowered to thrive.
